Park City, Utah, may not be the first place to come to mind when you think of Summer vacation, but after one visit, you’ll see why it’s at the top of our list. The same mountains that host your dream ski vacations transform into gateways for limitless Summer recreation. While other travel destinations face sweltering conditions in the peak of the season, the elevation and non-existent humidity mean weather conditions rarely rise above 85 degrees. From alpine coasters to Summer concerts, here are some of our favorite things to do in Park City.
Why Park City is The Hidden Gem of Summer Destinations
Utah Olympic Park & Park City Mountain
When it comes to exhilarating outdoor adventure, there are two places in Park City where the offerings are so unique, we had to include both. Originally constructed for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, The Utah Olympic Park is now home to a museum and a broad range of activities based around the world-class facilities, including summertime favorites: extreme tubing, a ropes course, and the bobsled. As the snow fades, Park City Mountain Resort transforms into a summertime haven filled with activities for the entire family including the legendary alpine coaster and alpine slide.
