We enjoyed our stay at Angel's Perch. The home was beautiful, kitchen well equipped, and cleaning was at the highest standards. You can not beat the view, it's better than in the pictures. Pre-arrival communication was great and we appreciated the the text the day after arrival to check on everything. We look forward to staying again.

The house and views were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay! A few things could have made it a bit nicer. Our check-in instructions specifically mentioned that coffee filters, salt and pepper would be provided. They were not. We were able to get coffee filters from the front office the next day, but we would have easily brought these items with us if it hadn’t been specifically listed as something that would be provided. The kitchen was really poorly was lacking even the most basic dishes (a large skillet, a stockpot, a measuring cup, etc). The tvs in two of the bedrooms did not work. They were not connected to cable and the DVD player would not work. Not a huge deal, but silly to have them in the rooms if they can’t be used. Or, if we’re doing something wrong, provide instructions. A wireless speaker had a sticker on it saying it could be used to stream music from your phone, but we could not get it to pair with our phones and no instructions were provided. Last, a key piece needed to run the garbage disposal was missing. Natural Retreats ordered the part but it was not arriving for a week, so the kitchen sink was backed up for the whole week during our stay. These are all minor things, and again, we had an amazing week...the views are simply incredible.

Overall the stay was great. However, there were a few things that I will verify before I rent one of these cabins again. 1. There were not enough pots and pans to cook for 8 people. We purchased our own. 2. There was not enough bedding for 8 people. 3. There was no coffee nor filters, but there were 2 coffee makers?

Lovely comfortable home!

This inviting cabin was more than we ever expected! It is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The porch is so nice with furniture and the view is breathtaking! The stars were twinkling so brightly!! The only downside is absolutely no phone service or WiFi on our phones!

If I could give this cabin 6 stars out of 5, I would. We stayed at Angels Perch #54 July 28th-August 3rd. Had a great time, in an amazing cabin! Also, very impressed with how Natural Retreats handled our reservations, etc., from start to finish. Starting with Clarissa/Charissa (sp?) at telephone reservations, and also Alex Wampler, and Colleen at the check-in cabin, just inside the gate. Then, there was Kevin and Matt in maintenance, who helped promptly with a couple of minor housekeeping issues. I know I'm forgetting some others, suffice it to say, EVERYONE was amazing! This is the 3rd time we've stayed in a cabin in the Smoky's, but the FIRST time at Brother's Cove, and also, the FIRST time someone gave us a map that was actually accurate to get us up the mountain to our cabin. (some other cabin communities that we stayed at in the past had maps that were terrible) The hot tub was awesome, the grill worked perfectly, plenty of kitchen of utensils, etc. Plenty of room for a family of 6 to spread out! The view of the mountains is like something out of a movie! There was some rain while we were there, and the fog/"smoke" was thick at some points, and breathtaking! The rain also gave us the opportunity to take full advantage of the pool table! The swimming pool was neat also, just down the mountain at the lodge. The views from the pool are breathtaking also, IMO. All in all, an unforgettable experience!

Relaxing place

The cabins are fantastic besides the fact that when we arrived it smelled like beer. And had broken glass out side by the jacuzzi. We called maintenance and they got to it ASAP but the first impression was sad. The jacuzzi took 4 days to get hot which we only used one day.
