Cozy and private cabin with hot tub, fireplace, and seasonal pool access
A cozy, one-bedroom, one-bath log cabin, Bear Crossing exudes the warmth and all of the comforts of home in the Great Smoky Mountains. Sleeping up to four, guests can either choose to get their beauty sleep in the bedroom’s queen-sized accommodation, or on the comfortable sleeper sofa. Guests can find a washer and dryer tucked in the closet of the bathroom.
When you book your stay at this cabin, you receive free admission to popular Smoky Mountain attractions with Xplorie. This program entitles our guests to one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, Mama's Farmhouse, Rowdy Bear Coaster, and more.
PLEASE NOTE – WI-FI is available but due to the remote, albeit beautiful location of the home, guests may experience an occasional disruption.
The living room boasts high ceilings & wood fireplace. The flat screen tv is great for watching movies, available to rent at the office or bring along your own. There is no cable or satellite service available for this cabin. Preparing meals is easily done in the fully-equipped kitchen, with both small and large appliances, and a small dining table tucked in the corner. A gas grill is available for use out on the deck.
Guests can enjoy the mountain air and beautiful wooded nature on the back deck from one of the lounge chairs or the hot tub. The Bear Crossing cabin is complete with room for two vehicles to park outside, and has access to the resort’s public swimming pool.
We apologize, but the Bear Crossing cabin does not accommodate pets.

We had a wonderful stay in cabin 6. Everything was either exactly as we expected or exceeded our expectations. The place was just right for us...not too much space or amenities we wouldn't use, but the perfect amount of space to spend together just the two of us. The location is exactly what we were looking for and the hot tub, grill and deck were absolutely the biggest hits. Our nightly routine of grilling the days selection followed by spending the remainder of the night in the hot tub with a drink in hand was exactly what we needed!! We will 100% be booking here again if we return to the area.

Cabin was well equipped and clean. Yellow Jacket nest next to top of steps was eliminated quickly by maintenance when I alerted the office. Enjoyed our stay.

Customer service was excellent. I got a call prior to my trip asking if we had everything in order/needed any help and I received a text daily while on my trip just checking in and wishing me well. I felt confident in the staff and enjoyed the free activities that came with my stay as well. Everything was very enjoyable and exactly what I had hoped it would be.

More chairs on the deck so all 4 people could sit out there. Pillows were needed for the sofa bed. The big bed was a little hard. Driving all the way up was a little scary. But otherwise was a really nice stay.

Cabin was comfortably clean and well-stocked with amenities. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I would love to have had the option to pre purchase firewood upon booking to save a trip to the store. A discount on lodging versus free tickets to attractions would have been preferable and it was not in my plans to visit any.

The tv didn't work. We knew there wouldn't be any wifi and that was fine. Apparently, the tv hasn't worked in quite a while by the looks of the guest register. We told the desk staff the first day, never heard anything - tv was not fixed during our stay. If you have zero intentions on fixing it just remove it from the list of amenities. The living room furniture is so uncomfortable we could barely sit through a rented movie. The cabin could be great. It was clean. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Property is beautiful. The pool/lodge area has stunning views. The back deck is a great spot to read a book and listen to nature. We won't be returning to this cabin though.

The cabin was well equipped and close to the exit--not way up the hill with all the twists and turns! My son was at the top of the hill and WOW! That was a trip! But both places were just lovely.

Tracy is an amazing host. She went out of her way to help us have a great stay. I am a diamond member for Hilton and she surpassed any experience I’ve ever had. She even purchased a foam pad for the bed because it was not very comfortable. We had a vehicle break down and she helped us work through that as well. She is simply amazing

Peaceful and a great getaway!
We stayed in this cabin in July for a week. It was so peaceful! No cell service and no tv. Sometimes you need to unplug to enjoy yourselves and that’s exactly what we did. The kids colored and played games instead of looking at a screen. We had a blast! There were some DVD’s there that was funny. Everything you needed was there except laundry detergent. Kitchen and bathroom was stocked. Back porch was very nice in the morning. Good and cool and so quiet! Queen bed in bedroom was a little hard for me and pull out was very uncomfortable. The pullout probably needs replaced. The kids slept on it so it wasn’t too bad for them. Cabin was very clean and Everything else was great! We would stay there again!

Wonderful Experience

Amazing, relaxing vacation!
Everything about this place surpassed my expectations. The cabin was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and responsive. The property is phenomenal - stay in a small cabin in the woods without seeing another cabin. Then. drive up the mountain and experience the views. Best pool ever - swim with the most amazing mountain views!
