From the living room, guests have access to the deck, featuring a charcoal grill, table and chairs, rockers and a porch swing, an outdoor, wood-burning fireplace, and a hot tub.
Large windows give openness to the loft area, which can also be used for a game room featuring a telescope to take in those starry nights, and additional sleeping quarters on the sleeper sofa.
We apologize, but the Brown Bear Lodge does not accommodate pets.
We were extremely pleased with the cabin and with the rental company. The only negative was that we were told there was a walk-in shower in one of the bathrooms, but there was not.
Roads were not well signed--i.e. sharp bends had no warning or guard rail. It was very difficult to turn around to go out from the cabin. And the area around the dumpster, across from the office, was very trashy, and need to be cleaned up.
As promised. One issue corrected in a matter of hours. No complaints with cabin or service!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this cabin!
beautiful location, very clean
The location and cabin were perfect. Everything was clean . Contactless check in and check out . I would recommend to anyone looking for a special getaway.
It was a great experience working with NR during the sudden onset of COVID19. The cabin was ready when they said it would be and it was a very easy check in and check out.
The cabin was stayed at was excellent! The pictures were accurate in terms of space and amenities and was really clean. It was easy to park and there was plenty of space for our group of 10.
This was a great cabin for our family. The location was fun and the view was great. You cannot get better customer service from the folks who run the place. Andrea was so kind and always so helpful
Keep this in mind when preparing your trip, you are far from town (grocery stores etc.) and if you plan on using the pullout beds for guests, they will have to go through a bedroom to get to a bathroom. Not having a "guest bathroom" was hard for us when the pullout couch people needed the bathroom in the middle of the night.
The cabin was great but check in wasn’t
Cabin was beautiful but check in was nightmare. Was told I could have early check in and then arrive and they say they have no idea when I can check in and can’t guarantee I can get in by 4! The whole process was extremely frustrating.
Beautiful cabin and location!
We visited in July for a wedding. Just gorgeous!!! Would definitely go back again. Cabin was lovely!!!
July vacation getaway
I stayed at the cabin with my husband and 5 other family members. The cabin was large enough for all to have plenty of persoanl space. The mountain view was serene and awesome. Natural Retreat was very accomodating to our requests. We give this cabin a thumbs up and would definitely recommend it to others. What a great way to spend our anniversary/birthday vacation.
BEAUTIFUL CABIN AND VIEW
We were here with our children and son in law in Aug 2018. We absolutely loved the spacious cabin and everyone had their own floor to sleep on! We ate breakfast on the porch and enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. We only wished we had spent more time at the cabin although there is plenty to see in the area! The only drawback was the main TV didn't work but they had a the resort maintenance man and then Direct TV come out immediately after I emailed them and should have a new one by now. The kids enjoyed having their own TV in their rooms but really didn't watch much anyway! Too many other amenities to enjoy! Daughter saw a bear outside the kitchen window walking up the driveway!
Beautiful cabin, excellent lost and found
My family and I recently stayed at Brown Bear #49. It is a beautiful cabin w/ gorgeous views. We had 2 families (parents and 2 kids each) and felt very comfortable in the cabin. The day after we left I realized I left my wedding ring in one of the bedrooms. I called and left a message w/ the after hours line who forwarded the message to the owners. By the next evening they told me they found my ring and mailed it back to me. I am very grateful to the owners for taking the time to locate my ring.
Brown bear lodge was great with beautiful views
My family stayed there in September it's close to everything we had a great time

Beautiful Home, Great Location.
We visited the home with my family and truly enjoyed ourselves. Most definitely one of the best vacations all of us had.
beautiful views beautiful log cabin
Very nice cabin and nice view we come for spring break 2017 with tge family.
My family stayed at this home during New Years and loved it! The cabin is just as nice as the pic's show.
We just got home yesterday from our week-long visit during Christmas and we are already missing this cabin!! Brother's Cove itself is a GORGEOUS gated community! We loved how private and quiet it was. Not a lot of heavy traffic and the views are amazing! Be sure to stop at the Lodge to take pictures from the Gazebo! Awesome views! The cabin was very clean. I can usually nit-pick apart some things, but whoever cleaned this cabin did a remarkable job! Not only did we have a nice Xmas tree, but the cabin was decorated nicely all throughout! We spent a lot of time in the cabin enjoying the multiple fireplaces, including the wood-burning FP in the Family Room. I was so happy to see how stocked the kitchen was!!! I cooked a few big meals and there was more than enough pots, pans, utensils, measuring cups, plastics, glasses, etc. You do not have to worry about bringing ANYTHING to cook! The only recommendation I have is to bring salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, & aluminum foil (since these are not provided). There is the large bedroom on the main floor with a jacuzzi tub & gas FP. This room has (the coolest) King Bed (although the mattress is VERY firm). The ONLY complaint I have is that mattress is way too hard in my opinion. The pillows were also terrible, I was glad we brought our own! On the 2nd floor there is a pool table, entertainment system (that plays music all throughout the cabin including outside!), pull-out Sofa Bed, and another large bedroom. The bedroom has a king bed, jacuzzi tub, gas FP, bathroom, and private balcony. On the 3rd floor, there is another bedroom. The stairs spiral up and are very steep! I would not recommend this room for very small children or elderly. The room has a queen bed and connecting bathroom with private balcony. This balcony actually has the best view out of the whole house! All rooms have satellite TV, but there are NO DVD players?? We thought that was a little strange. We had brought movies to watch (especially having small children) and they were disappointed they couldn't watch them. Reading prior reviews, we expected no cellphone service, but they did have WiFi that worked fast and we had no issues with that whatsoever. There is a garage next the cabin, but it's locked up. The location of the cabin is a little distance from all the attractions. It took us about 20-30 min to drive into Pigeon Forge, but the drive there is so beautiful along the mountain. Take advantage of Waldens Creek Stables just down the street!! They have horseback riding for all ages! So much fun! You can pick up a $5 off coupon at the gas station right before you get to the stables. There is so much to do within driving distance! The kids said their favorite attraction was the Alpine Roller Coaster which is also down the street on Walden's Creek Rd. We had a wonderful week at Brown Bear Lodge and look forward to visiting again real soon!
I visited for a wedding
We visited this home in August 2016, It is a wonderful cabin and the view was amazing. One thing that we would like to comment on and does not have anything to do with the cabin is that when you are in the mountains even with wifi you get very little cell service, so be prepared to be off the grid.
Beautiful cabin and perfect get away!
We were here for my cousins wedding at The Lodge (which was gorgeous). My sis in law had to do flowers so this was perfect for what we needed!
We visited in July and it was a wonderful stay!

The cabin has an awesome design and great view. Very clean. Wifi was down our first few days due to a storm in the area. Pretty private location but close to the heart of activities in Pigeon Forge. Little ones enjoyed bathing in the jacuzzi. Plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils but not much space for storing non-refrigerated food and supplies so this all sat on the breakfast bar, cutting down on our seating for meals. Overall, a very comfortable stay.
