Your Festive Holiday Drink Round-Up

There’s nothing better than cozying up to the fire with a warm mug of something sweet.

To get you in a festive mood no matter your location, we’ve compiled some of our favorite winter drinks to get into the spirit before decorating the tree or winding down after a long day of being outdoors.

Apres-Ski Rumplesnuggler

After a day of hitting the slopes, tradition calls for an apres-ski cocktail to finish off the day. With a name like Rumplesnuggler, it’s impossible to not have fun when you sip this wintery drink. Made by adding 1oz of Rumple Minze peppermint schnapps and 1.5oz of Irish cream liqueur to hot chocolate, this is the perfect warm drink to reset after a long day. The Rumplesnuggler is a fan favorite in Tahoe!

Cozy Apple Cider

There’s something about apple cider drinks that makes you feel cozy from the inside out. Just one sip and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a gorgeous mountainside. For a kid-friendly option, toss some apple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice to your crock pot or saucepan (after bringing to a boil) and let it simmer. For the grown ups, add in your favorite rum or bourbon several minutes before drinking.

Punch of Peppermint

Staying somewhere that’s already warm? Add a little chill to your evening beverage! 2 pumps of peppermint can spice up your morning latte. For an evening treat, we love this slow cooker peppermint bark hot chocolate.

Holiday Margarita

Celebrate the ahhh-lidays with a twist on a fan favorite - the margarita. Add 3 parts cranberry juice for every one part lime juice and toss in frozen cranberries instead of ice for a Christmas twist. Perfect for relaxing poolside and ordering Christmas gifts online!

Has your beverage inspired your wanderlust? The next time you snuggle up with a festive drink, it could be in one of our incredible vacation homes.
