Lake Winnipesaukee - Waterfront - 438

Captivating waterfront Lake Winnipesaukee home with boat house, dock and game room

Property 438 is a classic 'On Golden Pond' lake house with 350 ft of shorefront on Lake Winnipesaukee. This 1930's era home is on a point and has a fabulous screened in wraparound porch for relaxing, lovely stone wood-burning fireplace, large private dock, swim raft, and a sandy beach with easy lake access.

There are four bedrooms, all on the upper level. One has a twin bed, another has two twins, then two bedrooms with one queen bed each. The screened in porch has two sets of bunk beds for an alternative sleeping arrangement on warm summer nights. Although this is a classic camp, the kitchen appliances are 21st century, with a newly installed stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and freezer for your convenience. The boat house has been completely rebuilt and has two slips, one of which is available to guests and will house a 26 ft boat. This is one of the landmark boat houses on the lake. There is also a kayak and canoe provided at this home for use. There is a large game room on the second floor of the boathouse with ping pong, darts and other rainy day activities. Really disconnect and enjoy the simpler way of life at a home as there is no TV. This home will soon become a favorite year after year.

Beautiful View

This is our Fourth summer renting this home. We stayed for two weeks. As usual the views were amazing while enjoying coffee on the porch in the morning while the sun rose and barbecuing and dining on the porch while watching the sunset. The house itself could use some care (windowsills need to be clean and maybe a fresh coat of paint. Unfortunately, they need to do some maintenance on the home. Squirrels visit quite often. Don't know how they are getting in but they eat the food.

Awesome property!

My family and I just had an amazing time at our first vacation in New Hampshire. This home had everything we needed in the kitchen. The furniture was cozy and comfortable. The outside screened in porch and deck was wonderful. We loved the dock. We brought our boat and love getting to use it right from the house!
