We had a wonderful family vacation at the Clamelot House! Although the water pressure in the guest bath was less than impressive and the water goes from hot to cold in the master shower, this house was perfect for our large family and we would definitely stay again! Plenty of space to spread, while being on the same level was perfect! We enjoyed walks on the beach everyday, right out the back door! Stay out of the ocean water because we saw sharks regularly, along with dolphins and the random deer strolling the beach. Truly spectacular views from the deck, all day long, but especially at sunrise! The pool was nice and clear when we arrived but could have used a treatment towards the end of the week because of the rain. The kitchen was on point! If you're looking for a fantastic diner nearby, DO NOT MISS Beados! I wish we'd tried it earlier in the week while our Vegan family member was still there because they offer more Vegan options than I've ever seen in a roadside diner! The Beado burgers are amazing as well as the breakfast bowls and plates! (yes, we went on Friday afternoon and again on the way out on Saturday morning! It's that good!) Just book it! You'll be glad you did!

Natural Retreats personnel are great. The house needs attention, though. Many things not disclosed (no trash pickup, no access to basement from inside the house). Some things definitely not up to my standards.

Beautiful private home, much bigger than pictured

Everything about this trip exceeded our expectations. St. Helena and Beufort are perfect; scenic, historic, quiet, with old southern charm. The house was beautiful! Extremely roomy with a huge entryway, huge dining room, living room and sitting area. All of the bedrooms were large, extremely comfortable, three of which had beach/sunrise/moonrise views. The upper porch was perfect for drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. There was plenty of beach to walk during low tides. The house was staged beautifully when we arrived, all the lights were on, soft music playing and it smelled wonderful. Lots of big fluffy towels for all of us and an infinity water heater so plenty of hot water! It was a little too cool for the pool, but someone did come clean the leaves out of it when we were in town one day. There is a double garage available for use to secure your cars which was a nice bonus. The only con (which really wasn't a con for our group) is the living area is on the second level which is up about 20 stairs. Natural Retreats called on the second day to make sure everything was okay.

Needs some maintenance.

The setting and the house were beautiful. Routine maintenance was the only thing that we would suggest. We first arrived and the shower head would not stop dripping and the handle had to be replaced twice. The dual shower heads definitely need to be upgraded as well as the shower head on the tub, which did not work. All of the blinds in the master suite did not raise to give a full view of the beach and water below. The kitchen, which we were impressed with initially was not well equipped, for someone that likes to cook. The kitchen also had a leak from the ceiling that stained the ceiling and shades. More details that I do not want to elaborate on: splintering wood porch’’s, walk way to the beach is crumbling, shower curtain needs to be replaced, fridge ice maker and water dispenser never worked......For the price we paid I would expect everything in perfect condition.

Beautiful home with private beach

We just returned from our second stay here. We love thus house so much! Having the pool and private beach is a must for our family and Huntington Beach State Park right down the road is icing on the cake! We use the complimentary week pass to the park daily. We love being back in the Low Country but HATE the tourist congestion. This is the perfect location to avoid that! We've already booked next year's adventure! Can't wait to return!❤

My family and I visited in November, the was well appointed, decorated beautifully, and extremely clean. We loved being on the beach and enjoyed nice weather. That tub in the Master bath was wonderful (we had a full moon's view!). Can't wait to visit again!!

Great House in an Awesome Location

My husband and I visited this home the first week of October 2017. Wow!!! What a gem! I almost hate to review this home lest the secret get out. The house was beautiful and very clean and had everything you would need for a relaxing and functional vacation. The location and views were amazing. Quiet and private. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
