Sleeping four, this two-bedroom, two-bath home overlooks the beautiful Beaufort River and offers a serene getaway in an ideal in-town location in Pigeon Point.
Guests can choose to rest and relax in the king-sized bed in the primary bedroom or opt for one of the comfortable twin beds. The primary bedroom includes a private bath and its own flat-screen television. The living room is complete with plenty of seating and a large, flat-screen television. Enjoy cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with both large and small appliances for your convenience plus a charcoal grill for additional cooking. Dine together at the table, or take your plates out to the back porch to enjoy the refreshing Sea Islands air.
From the living room, step onto the back porch and patio to find the perfect place to kick back and relax. Enjoy lounging in the shade under the large, screened-in porch, or take to the sunshine and slip into the refreshing water of Periwinkle Place’s private above-ground swimming pool. You’ll enjoy views of the marsh while soaking up the sun, allowing you to truly appreciate the beauty of South Carolina’s Sea Islands. The (non-heated) pool is typically open seasonally from May through September but is weather dependent.
Pigeon Point offers both a public boat landing and a park for more active pursuits. A brief stroll along with river will reward you with the USC campus, the historic district, and charming downtown Beaufort. Parris Island is located 9 miles away and visit Hunting Island State Park only 19 miles away.

Per the owner's approval, one small dog under 20 pounds only is allowed for a pet fee of $200. Large dogs are not permitted. This home comes with complimentary Wi-Fi.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The pictures truly don't give the view in the backyard justice because it's even more breathtaking than you would imagine. We had 2 toddlers with us and the home was perfectly suited for them, and there wasn't anything within their reach that they could break! It was a perfect home away from home

No one is perfect. There is always room for improvement - greater variety of pans in the kitchen, touch pad for house access was temperamental. It was a great location for anyone attending an event at MCRD Parris Island. Thank you.

Easiest check in and out we’ve ever experience! We couldn’t believe it when there wasn’t much to check out. Most places require a lot of help with the checkout process and that’s just not the case with Natural Retreats! We were able to find everything we needed in the house and then some. Periwinkle Place was perfect for our family of 3. The house was beautiful and clean, with everything we needed for a week in Beaufort. The location within walking distance of downtown and with a reasonable 20-30 minute drive to the beach was ideal. We enjoyed walking a couple of blocks to the live oak shaded parks within the neighborhood and were able to walk up to Pigeon Point landing a couple of times to do some fishing and crabbing. But without a doubt, the best feature of Periwinkle Place was the enormous screened in porch with an amazing view of the marsh. With such a great spot outside, we spent very little time inside other than to sleep. It was the perfect place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and family games. We plan on returning as soon as we can!

Perfect for our USMC family celebration
We could not have asked for a better experience to be reunited with our son after graduating from 13 weeks at Boot Camp at Parris Island summer of 2017. The screened in porch is incredibly large almost doubled the living space to the outdoors where we enjoyed many meals and relaxation by the pool. Now that he is stationed in Beaufort we would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was by far the best small vaca we have ever had....The location was excellent & the home was immaculate with a awesome screened back porch & patio, deck with pool all over looking a gorgeous river and wetland...We spent the entire time on the porch relaxing watching the wild life from sunrise till bedtime.

Perfect house and location
We stayed at this house May 26th-June 1, 2017. The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view. The pool was fun also. There is nothing that could be any better with this house.

Home Away from Home
We were looking for a place where we could get a feel for living in Beaufort and Periwinkle Place was THE perfect place for us. As soon as we stepped inside, we immediately felt right at home. It's the perfect size for a couple and 1-2 guests and a real plus that they accept pets since I stayed two weeks. The beds were comfortable...fully stocked kitchen...the screened in porch was my favorite place to hangout with my morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The pool was an asset on the warm, sunny days. Who needs the beach with this pool and view?! We rode our bikes around Pigeon Point and met a few of the neighbors. We felt safe in this quiet, friendly neighborhood and didn't want to leave when it was time to go home. We are planning to come back very soon.

Stayed here for my son's Marine graduation. For about the same cost as a small hotel room, the home had everything. With all of the traveling, it was so nice to have sheets, towels, blankets, paper products and tons of living space! We travel a good bit, and this was the nicest prepared place we have ever stayed in!!

We loved this place from the moment we opened the door. It is beautifully decorated yet cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome. We cooked some meals there and even baked cookies. All appliances worked well! The bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable. Everything was clean! Loved the screen porch! Natural Retreats is a great company. They checked in on us several times to make sure everything was perfect for us. This was a quiet neighborhood which is perfect for us. I would stay here when visiting again.

Great Rental
What a peaceful and relaxing vacation we had at Periwinkle Place! The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We loved hearing and watching the birds out back, including a family of egrets that had nested in a clump of bushes against the fence, right along the water's edge. We also had cardinals, bluebirds, mockingbirds, Carolina wrens, crows and hawks. Sitting on the screened-in porch and enjoying nature was heavenly. Cooking in that well-designed kitchen, as well as grilling right out back, were both effortless. We can't wait to return!
