Located in a prime ocean-side neighborhood of Harbor Island, Seas the Day is an airy, four-level cottage steps from the beach with a lush backyard and multiple decks and balconies offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views.

The meticulously maintained, custom-built home combines elements of a modern mansion with a relaxed beach house, featuring surround-sound, high ceilings, white oak floors, and New England cottage decor. Enter on the main level, where a light-filled great room welcomes you to relax on a full-length sofa or one of three elegant accent chairs. French doors open onto a spacious deck overlooking a tranquil marsh, where you’ll find a charming cafe table, and a cozy bench. Just off the great room, a separate sunroom features a wrap-around sofa and wet bar for a glass of wine after dinner.

An upgraded kitchen boasts additional wine storage, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry, with seating for up to eight guests between a four-seat breakfast table and four high-top chairs at the counter. A formal dining room adds seating for six, allowing the home to comfortably host large family dinners. The main floor also features a spacious laundry room and a custom coffee bar to fuel days of adventure on the island — or mornings of quiet contemplation on the veranda. There is also a half bath located on this level.

Three spacious suites offer a relaxing retreat after a day on the water, with a family-friendly layout that affords privacy to each guest:

This impressive room has a luxurious en-suite bath with a step-in shower and whirlpool bathtub, nautical decor, and private doors to the main-level balcony.

This bedroom features picture windows, a charming rocking chair and French doors leading to the balcony. You’ll also have a private bath.

Bedroom 4 - Third Floor
Guests must climb a metal spiral staircase to get to this loft room with two twin beds. Located on the other side is a cozy seating area with a wicker loveseat and two chairs.

Throughout, you’ll find cozy reading nooks, spiral staircases, and picture windows showcasing marsh and ocean views. For a front-row seat to the ocean, stroll down the street to the beach, or take advantage of your golf cart garage to explore the island. At Seas the Day, you’ll have a prime location for adventure — and a relaxing retreat for lazy days with family.

Please be advised that all guests are required to have a car pass in order to access the island. Harbor Island requires all guests to have a car pass to access the island. Car passes must be ordered through Natural Retreats in advance of your stay. This home accommodates up to 3 vehicles max.

As our gift to you for booking with us, we offer free admission to select Sea Islands and Beaufort attractions. Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like the Kazoo Factory and a free kayak rental. It’s our way of saying, “Thanks!”
