Rustic fisherman's cabin overlooking the river, shared deck, open-plan living and full bathroom

Originally part of Spence Warner’s South Fork Lodge, our Fisherman’s Cabin offers three simply furnished rooms, each of which can accommodate two guests. Rooms come replete with one queen and one twin-sized bed, a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, dresser, and full-bathroom with a shower-over-tub. Fisherman’s Cabin is conveniently located directly behind our fly shop, the outfitters, and is a short 200-yard walk to the main lodge. There is also ample parking, making it ideal for guests who plan on bringing their own boat.

At the end of a busy day fishing, kick off your boots and enjoy a relaxing drink as you sit on your room's shared back deck, which is shaded by towering cottonwood trees and offers stunning views of the river. In addition to an abundance of birds, you may even see a beaver or moose.

*Please note that there are three individual rooms that are bookable separately.
Fishermans Cabin is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic view For booking short notice, the staff was friendly and willing to help us get the best deal. The room was comfortable and we loved seeing the river just outside our window. The dining area as well as the main hall was warm and inviting. My only complaint would be about the food. The salad was two Romaine leaves with sauce on it (hard to eat) and the burgers were average. I would not pay 15$ for the burger again. Overall, I would stay again but eat somewhere else in Swan Valley for dinner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Motel 6 would be embarrassed and charging $250 for We love to fish out of the South Fork - great guides and great service. The food at the lodge is very good and the staff outstanding. We very much dislike your policy of having to stay at the lodge in order to book a certain guide. And the rate for the Fisherman's Cabin is outrageous for what you provide. We have left a review on Travel Advisor about the experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we needed My wife and I stayed at the Lodge in August while fishing the South Fork and adventuring into Grand Teton National Park. Teneile greeted us at the front desk with a smile and recent fishing news before sending us to our room and the fly shop. The shop staff was eager to help us with fly selection and suggesting good spots to wade fish. Jordan and Neil seemed to be experts of the river and Vanessa helped my wife pick out shirts for the family back home. We ate like royalty for two nights while relaxing on the beautiful back patio. Liam was our server both nights and Carlyle's wine knowledge was extensive. Our compliments to Chef Bryant for a truly memorable dining experience and one of the best pork chops of my life. Overall, we had a great couple days exploring the Lodge and getting to know the employees. We left feeling like family and are excited to share our experience with friends back home. No doubt we will be back next year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spot!!!!!!!!! We had a great time there in Sept 2018...all the staff were so friendly and helpful from manager to cleaning staff! Fishing guides all have 15-2o years of experience and we were thrilled to have Lee Moore as our guide and he was terrific. We even took the overnight camp down in the Canyon with him which was so fun.Food was delicious and you cannot beat the beautiful view of the river from the Main Lodge. Thanks to each and every staff member who made our trip so pleasurable...we hope to come back again next year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fisherman's cabin, indeed! Relaxed, non obtrusive place to sleep and clean up while getting on with the main business of fishing the South Fork of the Snake River.Spectacular food. Spectacular geology and bird watching.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible Views if the river All went well and the accommodations were nice, clean and right on the river. The only negative was the front desk operator who was very rude while we were checking out. Little to no eye contact and did not ask how we enjoyed our stay. She tossed our receipt to us and ran into the office closing the door behind her. Guess she was having a bad morning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quiet riverside retreat Visited for the eclipse in August. The cabin is quaint and quiet; it was nice to sleep with the window open and listen to the river at night. The bed was a bit too soft to my liking, but I slept well nevertheless.
