Just walk to the end of the street (100 feet or so) and you are on the slopes. Communication from the host was perfect. Great Location, Amazing Views!!!

Stayed in 9 Indian Summer with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) and another family (2 adults, 1 kid) MLK weekend. The home is absolutely beautiful. Extra long dining table easily held all of us, kitchen was well stocked - had everything we needed. Large fridge (we cooked dinner in each night), wine cooler was a bonus! Beds were very comfortable - our bed was honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a rental (and we travel 3-4 times a year, always staying in rental homes). The kids bedroom and attached bathroom were spacious. Heated grage was much appreciated - great place to store skis at night. Home had mudroom-type storage on the ground floor that was the perfect place to store all of our ski clothing - enough cubbies/hooks for everyone! The views of the mountain were stunning - no words to describe the sunrise over the mountain range. The hottub easily holds four adults - would be a little tight with any more, although I bet it's rated for 6 adults. We accidentally turned the hot tub setting to sleep mode. When I called Natural Retreats they had maintenance out within 20 minutes to fix the setting - thanks goodness, b/c we needed it after a long day of skiing. As for ski-in/ski-out, it's about a 40 yard walk down the road to the run (it's on the other side of the house next door). From there about 10 minutes to the Madison base, some of it is flat, so if you don't have poles (like most little kids), skip the ski-out and just drive to Madison base. Our friends skied out twice and said it was no problem, but it did take some effort b/c of the flat parts. Our youngest is five (no poles) so we made the 7-ish minute drive to Madison each day and skied from there. Small base, lots of parking, can easily park and walk to the lifts/rentals/ski school, etc. The have a restaurant (more like a cafeteria with a bar) at the base that stays open until 5pm - we enjoyed some apres drinks daily. We also ate lunch there twice. Small selection (hot dogs, beef brisket sandwich, baked potato, chicken tenders, fries, and bagged chips, sodas, cookies, hot chocolate - not much more than that), but enough to get the job done. Ate lunch at Mountain Village in the Exchange one day - that place is awesome with tons of options. Overall, amazing trip (9" of powder on our first day!), stunning views, no crowds/lift lines, fantastic ski instructors and an EXTREMELY comfortable and beautiful home to come back to each day. CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN!!!

Great ski cabin

Visited over New Years and had a great week skiing. The description and photos of the house are accurate. Great ski access by just walking about 100 feet down the road. We had a hard time getting thermostat set correctly so it wasn't way too hot. We were a little disappointed that a ski cabin like this one didn't even have a ski rack in the garage. Also would be great if it had a little bench in the garage. A ski boot warmer/dryer would also be a welcome addition.

Great Winter Vacation Home

I visited Big Sky Montana in March 2018 and stayed at 9 Indian Summer. This is my families 5th year in Big Sky and we finally found a floor plan and location that completely suits our needs. The snow was great this year and we enjoyed the ski in, ski out features this property offered. The views from the house as the sun rose in the morning and set in the evening greatly enhanced the experience.

Beautiful mountain home but some misinformation

Not actually Ski in/out , walk 100 yards , house says fit 13 people and 10 beds , we had 8 adults and 5 beds are children size , jacuzzi is small and hold 4 people (for a home rated for 13) , outdoor grill tiny and cheap ( try cooking for 13 on that ) , furniture had cream colored covers that were really dirty and looked bad .at $900 a night was not a good value for 8 people
