PBR 2025 Returns to Big Sky
Get ready for pro bull riding in the heart of the Rockies!
PBR 2025
Widely known as the “toughest sport on dirt,” PBR will showcase 40 of the toughest cowboys riding the world’s biggest and strongest bulls at the Big Sky Events Arena—all set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
Things get started on Friday, July 11, with the Big Sky Community Rodeo. On Tuesday, July 15, take in the family-friendly Mutton Bustin’ competition, followed by the Dick Allgood Bingo Night. The PBR Golf Tournament will be held the next day on Wednesday, July 16.
Then, from July 17 through July 19, it’s all about cowboys and bull riding.

A Little Backstory
The Big Sky PBR event started as a one-night show back in 2011. It was a rodeo spectacle for the ages—and it was a hit. A second night was added in 2012, and with that, a celebrated tradition was born. Over the years family-friendly activities such as carnival games and circus entertainment have been incorporated into the fare—most of them for the young and most of them free.
In time, the number of spectators and cowboys grew, the numbers eventually swelling to over 30,000. Which brings us to a critical point mentioned earlier: The time to book your accommodations and purchase your tickets is now.
