Hatfield Hideaway

Quaint cabin, 1 mile to parkway with hot tub, fireplace and free WIFI

Due to high visitation and staffing constraints, local area offerings such as restaurants, bars, shopping, and shared amenities may have limited hours or availability. Cell phone and internet service may also be impacted during high visitation periods. Please contact us directly to discuss the impact during your stay dates.

Conveniently located in Sky Harbor, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee, Hatfield Hideaway is a 2-story, 3 bedroom classic log cabin with the space and comfort your family will love. If location is what you are looking for, look no further; Hatfield Hideaway is located just a short drive away from Dollywood.

When you book your stay at this cabin, you receive free admission to popular Smoky Mountain attractions with Xplorie. This program entitles our guests to one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like Dollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, and more.

The beauty of a vacation in the Smokies can only be enhanced by its remote location and solitude! Therefore, please be advised that the WIFI in this area is unstable. Downloading, streaming, and/or video conferencing may not be available.

The hardwood floors and wooded interior capture you as soon as you enter this cozy cabin. There is a leather couch and two love seats around a large stone wood-burning fireplace. This is the perfect spot for the whole family to watch a DVD or movie on one of the Netflix enabled televisions. The cabin has a charming dining area and country kitchen with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A door opens up to the front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee and the Smoky Mountain ambiance in the quiet of the morning. There is also a charcoal grill for additional cooking.

The first floor bedroom has a log framed, queen-sized bed, a flat screen TV with a DVD player, and, for your convenience, a door to the large, full bathroom. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two log framed bunk beds with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on the top and a flat screen TV.

We are happy to welcome dogs to the cabin for an additional fee of $50/pet. Please note this home does have WIFI, but the TVs are Roku enabled and do not have cable.

It was enjoyable scenery, not too noisy, good location between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was very nice.

Nice cabin. I gave it a 7 because the hot water was limited so most of our showers were ice cold & the stove needs updating. But for the most part great experience.

Our cabin was nice. But 1 complaint was there was no dish towels or dish clothes.

The cabin was great, there were 3 of us on this trip so we had more than enough room. We enjoyed making a fire every night of our stay, sitting on the porch listening to the brook right below the porch and using the hot tub. We made full use of the kitchen and the location was great. Cabin is in the woods but minutes from town if you should need anything. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home.

We loved our stay please don't take me wrong. The issues we had were the refrigerator took all weekend to get our drinks cold. The other issue we had was the dryer tore up two articles of clothing. Aside from that it was a fantastic stay. We had a great time. Those issues were the only issues.

Great location and cute cabin. We had a few minor issues - upstairs wouldn’t get cool and internet didn’t work.

This was such a much needed vacation. My mother and I, who care for my father with dementia, were so looking forward to our hot tub with a mountain view. We got the mountain view with a broken hot tub and burned out porch lights. Maintance came up and said the breaker box looked fine and never attempted to change a light bulb which is fine I guess since the hot tub wasn't fixed either. We have been compensated with tickets to the aquarium. I could have bought a fish tank and sat in the bathtub at home for a lot cheaper. Very disappointed. Wouldn't rent more recommend.

Needs update

Great house with a lot of potential but it desperately needs some investment. We did not spend too much time in the house otherwise I would be more disappointed. It did not seem dirty, but majority of the items inside the house were very old, appliances, couch, floor, bathroom altogether.

Great location

The location of this cabin is wonderful, but it definitely could use some TLC. The couch was peeling. The light in the laundry room did not work. The floors in the bathroom and laundry room looked like they had seen better days, and the TV in the queen bedroom upstairs did not have sound.

The go to cabin!

Visited in early November. Cabin is very clean and beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice! Small waterfall outside the porch. Fireplace in the living room. Flatscreen TVs with Netflix on the ones downstairs and in the room with the bunk beds. The other room just has a DVD player. Definitely will be back to this cabin. The only 2 complaints was the dryer took a few tries to get started and the bottom bathtub is missing the stopper. Other then that perfect! Will be back!

Cabin definitely needs upgrades

The pictures do not show how old and in disrepair the cabin is in. The couch had 2 areas where it was so worn down that the vinyl or leather was missing. The floors were all marked and scratched up. The Windows were filthy like they haven't been cleaned on years. There was no lock on the trash bin cage. The bathrooms were outdated, the flooring in the bathrooms were torn in places. The refrigerator froze all my fruit where I had to throw it away. Even after I turned it to the lowest setting. I will not rent this cabin again. Very disappointed.

Great stay

We have stayed here a few times and have really enjoyed the cabin. Very comfortable. 18 wild turkeys walked by as we sat on the porch on our last visit

Perfect Location!

We have been visiting Hatfield Hideaway for years. It is always clean and the owner has gone out of his way to make sure cooking supplies, WIFI and TV's are up to date. We enjoy the location as much as anything. It is in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg It is also not to high in the mountains, so go to the sites, shopping and the store are not an all day trip. Also safe for us. We have taken friends there and they feel the same. We love this cabin and it is almost like our second home. We plan on many more trips to Hatfield Hideaway.

Quiet and relaxing

Love the cabin! It's away from the main areas so you get peace and quiet. Plenty of room but still cozy.

Location location location

This cabin was so conveniently located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that we could be in any place within 5 to 10 minutes and enjoying ourselves. love the bunk bed rooms it gave the kids their own space why letting the adults relax on the wrap-around covered porch and enjoying the sounds of the natural spring and the wildlife, our stay was in Late July and we would really like to come back in October to see fall leaves change over. We love The Rustic beauty of this cabin and would stay here again.

Stay over Memorial Day weekend and the cabin was in great condition with everything in easy access. The porch was a go-to spot with a natural spring in the front. The hot tub was a plus as well to relax on vacation. The location of the cabin was very convenient with small travel times to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Overall I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else! Definitely worth it!

Beautiful Cabin

We visted this cabin on Labor Day weekend 2017 and enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Bunk beds were not comfortable at all and no cable in that room but it did have a dvd player. Hot tub was wonderful and relaxing.
